A pintail longboard would be better to cruise on for a beginner. once you get good i suggest fireball, beast wheels, loose trucks, and sliding gloves for you to slide. your deck once you get good should be a landyahtz, dervish, or a tan tien. these are all the best longboards for street riders depending on what you plan on doing when you get better. fpr example you need to know if you willl just cruise, or do tricks.

What is better for a beginner: A Pintail or a kicktail longboard or a pintail longboard?
I am mainly wanting it to cruise around on.

Hey I'm gonna buy a longboard and I just want one to cruise the streets with my friends. I'm a beginner and I also weigh 260 lbs from the rugby season. My main concern is how flexible my board should be. Any suggestions?
Thanks
